This past weekend at the Longhorn posse Lonestar classic, Dr. Cohron also selected our young steer, TX, as the All Age Reserve Grand Champion Haltered Steer! So proud of this big guy and all of his accomplishments!

We decided it was time for one of our favorites, Iron Duchess, to visit the show arena again and the decision paid off!

✨ Dexter and Clint ✨

Less than 6 years ago, two calves were selected from two of our foundation cows for Rush Back Acres to grow and enjoy a couple of trophy steers.

The two steer calves were delivered at weaning and have thrived under the care of Rush Back Acres. Dexter and Clint, who will both be 6 years old next month, have not disappointed. They both reached trophy status at an early age and still have many years of growth and enjoyment to give. We are happy when buyers do well!!

🎉🎉 T X HITS THE BIG 100 🎉🎉

Our gentle giant, TX, measured 98” back in October 2025 at the Call of the Horns securing his division win!

TX has now blown past the 100” plateau measuring ✨103.25” tip to tip✨ at 4 years of age.

We love them all, but TX has a special place in our hearts.
