If you look carefully you may spot the pink flags that Regenerative Design Group placed to mark the locations of our future fruit trees on the slopes! They also came out to mark our deer fence line, so we're plugging away at placing our 8 ft posts.

The winter growing tunnel experiment is going well. Getting frost cloth over the inner hoops is high priority as last night was our first frost.

Popcorn is popping! Aji Cachucha peppers are ripening, and nasturtium is still blooming. We are finishing our season early this year to do some infrastructure building in preparation of a big spring fruit tree planting.

Taking a break from the market this week to prep winter beds. We're doing an experiment with winter high tunnel and internal hoops. Overwintering onions and winter growing some greens. Fingers crossed it works! We're also gearing up for our heated greenhouse build in late October too.

We just had to double post, because the lemon cucumbers and pumpkins are coming to the market today! Marina is the bumpy one, and she is delicious. Florenza sunflowers are starting to bloom too. Lastly, our watermelons are actually mini doll babies this year, but sadly very few compared to previous years due to our experimentation in forcing them to be mini. Definitely great information for next year though.

Peppers in the front, and popcorn in the back! Mini bells are making their debut today at the market. Popcorn will be one of the last crops once they fully dry. We will also have some Jack be little pumpkins. Sugar pumpkins are ripening still. Also peep pic 3 which is our Mongolian giants and Florenza sunflowers getting ready to flower. We grow them for our chickens.
