This is a recent picture of a log cabin that will be disassembled at its current location and re-assembled at the farm this year. The cabin is 40 years old. Other activities planned for the farm this year include but are not limited to prepping for a pumpkin patch, repainting the barn and barn quilts, and planting a couple of hybrid chestnut trees. In 2019 we hosted a "walk and talk" at the farmstead and had our first harvest of hazelnuts from one of our bushes.

Rod and I hosted a Walk and Talk at the barn on July 20th sponsored by Historic Ithaca. In spite of the hot, humid weather about 30 people attended to hear about the history of farm and the various buildings.

Had the 4th annual Howe Green barn party on October 5th. The weather was great. Had over 100 friends, family, and neighbors enjoying good food and conversation. Activites included cider pressing, volleyball, hayrides, scavenger hunt, walks, and a bonfire. Kids enjoyed the swing in the barn and jumping out the back into a hay pile.
