Blue skies, grass in the fields, changing leaves, cooler temperatures,running water, healthy cattle. This list could go on and on, but the main thing is a thankful heart!
A few months ago it was scorching hot, super dry, brown crunchy fields, low ponds, but when you continue to praise God in the midst of the hard times knowing that he is faithful, it makes you even more thankful knowing that he is good and will take care of us!
In case you haven’t heard anyone tell you today…let us tell you God is a good good God!!!

Last weekend we finished up our hay season. We really don’t know how blessed we are. After a very dry and doubtful beginning of the year, rains started coming at the right time and we wound up baling 4,390 bales! It’s a good thing we did, because the first persimmon seed I cut had a big shovel.

It’s the little things that are done when you don’t know anyone is looking or getting a picture, but they are just done because it’s the right thing to do. It could be to help protect a calf from the stampede of cows, or a thousand other little things that go unmentioned and unseen.
Honestly the list could go on and on! But it is these little details that make you appreciate the way this family and our farmhands care.
