HATCHING EGGS

Hatching Program for schools, other facilities and families!! We are a small backyard farm dedicated to educating people, helping others, and living a more sustainable life. If you're wondering why we are "Parsley Farm," "Pars" is from my last name and "sley" is from Greg's. We post videos on YouTube of our animals, projects, recipes, ideas, and renovations. We help out a friend of ours who is "differently-abled" and uses a wheelchair to get around. And sometimes helps us with our projects. We also have chickens, ducks, fish, bees, dogs, and (Stephanie's sister's) dove. Since we are always taking on new projects, there is never a dull moment!! But have no fear, there is plenty of humor and fun along the way! Come join us on our journey!!

A local school is starting some of our hatching eggs in the incubator today!! Kids will touch upon the development inside the egg and get to visually see the baby chicks moving and growing in the egg. I added a couple Brinsea Ovascopes to our hatching program. They really allow for a good peek inside. So, I can't wait to hear the feedback about them. I think the kids are going to love seeing the babies grow!!

Thank you to everyone who supports our farm and the work we do to enrich learning at our schools and our preservation efforts with the rare and critically endangered heritage breed of chicken: The Araucana. We added 3 Araucana eggs along with a couple Black Copper Marans eggs and an Olive Egger egg. Should be a good hatch!!

My girl, in her happy place ❤️💞💘 Spending time with the chicken she named after herself. She says, "We were both upside-down and needed help at birth (c-section for both). We're both the youngest. We're both better talkers than walkers. And were both annoying." I think its sad that Charlise, the human, views herself as annoying. But, she says it with a smile on her face, hopefully knowing deep down how loved she is while finding comfort in time with her "kindred spirit."

(P.S. I tucked the wagon up against my neighbor's fence... hopefully it won't blow away 🙏 But, its easy to miss if you're coming from town.)
