With the weather changing from 80 degrees to 45 degrees just this week here in NY, Adalida earned her big girl jammies! Appearing sweeter than she acts, her Solo Select slinky is 🤗

TORCH TUESDAY 🔥
This 2 year old is going to be so cool when he is finished. He's so quick footed and just wants to please. And this cow didn't bother him a bit! 💪🔥

RSTPA - Ranch Sorting Team Penning Association finals was fast, and we can't be more proud of how the horses worked and how the Diamond D crew performed! Thankful for a great season and the people who support our program. Derek was awarded Best Mentor for the 2nd year in a row, along with being in the Top 5 open riders for the 5th year in a row. A big win in the 9/2 class was special because it was with one of our clients who really puts the work in all year and it paid off! Amanda Schurr

Had the opportunity to try out a "real cow", you cannot see it, but I promise it was there. Thanks to Bob and Katie Jamison for allowing the opportunity to keep the two year olds worked on the road while we showed at Garwood Arena this week! **tstarting Metallics MVP

We wanted to take a minute, as RSTPA - Ranch Sorting Team Penning Association finals are only a few days away, we wanted to reminisce a bit on our sorting series this year and just say thank you to everyone who came and supported our shows.

Being a show producer is not for the weak 😆. This season was our biggest season yet, with a ton of new faces, lots of returning, and even more fun and laughs than we ever expected! We made ourselves a new announcers stand (finally!), celebrated a BIG birthday 🎉, hosted an engagement 😉, ate a ton of good food, had thousands of technical difficulties, experienced one of the best weather luck seasons ever, played some serious sharks and minnows, brought back foot sorting, kept the cattle as fresh as we could, set up and tore down more stalls than ever before, and can 100% say this was the best season that we have ever hosted. Thank you so much again to everyone who came and had some fun with us. HUGE thank you to everyone who helped us out along the way, from gathering and numbering cattle, set up for show days and tear downs, announcing, running the show office, the food (!), the technical help, and the last minute finishing touches👍 Good luck to everyone going into RSTPA finals this coming week to wind down this crazy 2026 ride! 🔥

We set up a little mock cutting for MVP to try out his skills and see how he wants to perform. His first time holding the line, he didn't disappoint! **tstarting Metallics MVP

We had our Cow Work Schooling "show" yesterday! No judges, no pressure. Just cows and horses!

These days any opportunity to put your horse in front of a cow is worth the time! All these horses need to keep things fresh and fun too, not the same game all the time. Keeps them and us on our toes and getting back to doing it because we truly enjoy it!

Mother nature has been kind to us and we are a go for tomorrow morning. Let us know if you are coming so we have enough cattle for everyone. See you in the morning!

Check out this new thing we are gonna try! September 19th, we will be producing a Cow Work Schooling Show! What is that exactly? Well we are just trying something different. Come work your horse on cows. It's that simple. Pick a class, pick a couple, bring a horse, bring a few. Young horses, seasoned horses, never before done this horses and riders! Something fun, to get an opportunity to get your horse worked, do something a little different, and school on 'em! Derek will be on site to also assist and coach anyone wanting some extra help!
If you are interested let us know, we would love to know who wants to come give it a try and give us a good idea of cattle count

This is not at the home facility, but about 20 mins up the road hosted at Jacob Partridge's arena! This is a "fair weather only" event.
