New feathered babies. The girls fit in just wonderfully with our other girls. The transition has been very easy. The white pullet/hen is a bantam Cochin Frizzle Splash. She’s already precious, but will be gorgeous once full grown. Then we have a Blue Silkie. She’s very sweet and very interactive. They have been named Daisy (The Cochin) and Dixie (The Silkie).

New roost for the girls. Scrap wood in use. 👍🤗

New windmill find at Tractor Supply. Found a great spot in our chicken area for it.

It was a beautiful day on the Gulfcoast. Breezy, full of sunshine and not scorching hot. Spent some of the afternoon with the dogs and chickens, just enjoying the weather.

Sunday project. Built a chicken tree for perching out of scrap wood. Added wind chimes for the chickens to peck at. I'll make a run to grab a solar cap for the top of the perching tree.
Happy chickens, happy wife lol.

How Lucci feels about the new girls.
Tell us how you really feel Lucci lol.
Anyway, all in time. Once he's use to the girls the temporary fence will come down. Lucci was not with us in Texas when we had our Ferme. He's new to all this.

What we've learned in the past 3 weeks of having the new girls is Clementine reigns queen. She indeed is boss and head hen. As she's sweet and docile, she keeps the girls in check and in place.
