How it started vs how it ended 🤠
Being a “stay at home mom-slash-small business owner” is a constant rebalancing of priorities, energy, and focus. There are so many ups and downs behind the scenes. (Like, so many, y’all.)
Late nights, early mornings, exciting breakthroughs and discouraging failures.
Through it all, I’m so deeply astounded by the way my community always shows up to support me when I need to call on them.
This week I felt ✨literally✨ carried by so many, and I wanna drop those thanks right here👇
My kids & husband, for jumping in a second vehicle and coming to help me unload and cart stuff across a whole field 😅
Teddi (The Gulf Coast Gallery), without hesitation, volunteered to help me run my booth when childcare plans changed and my husband couldn’t. 🫶
The random guy who helped my pick up the pieces of my tent and zip-tie them together 😭
Andrea (Barefoot Appalachian) for sending me a pic of the carnage that was my tent yesterday after the storm rolled through ⛈️
Brook (Sweet B's Bakehouse) driving from Hattiesburg to support, encourage, and say hey! 👋
My brother Josh, the other vendors who came by to check in on us and visit with us, and so very many awesome people who visited our booth and let us share a little snippet of their lives.
Mississippi Cannabis Festival was kind of the perfect icing on the cake for this week. If you start at the bottom, you can only go up! 🤠
Anyways, I’m in the market for a tent that doesn’t require zip ties to stay up. Send me your recs!
