You were designed to eat protein … in its original form. 🥩
For generations, families gathered around the dinner table sharing real food — beef, eggs, dairy, fresh bread. Meals were slow. Conversations were long. Bodies knew exactly what to do with what was on the plate.
Today, the picture looks different —life got faster. Food got more convenient.
But it’s harming us.
🔸 More than half of the calories the average American eats now come from ultra-processed foods
🔸 6 in 10 American adults live with at least one chronic disease, and 4 in 10 live with two or more (CDC)
🔸 In a tightly controlled NIH study, people eating ultra-processed foods ate 508 extra calories a day — without realizing it — compared to those eating whole foods
Your body really can tell the difference.
A steak gets chewed slowly, releases amino acids gradually, and arrives with built-in iron, B12, zinc, and creatine — nutrients held together in the way God designed.
A processed protein bar, even with the same grams on the label, moves through you faster, often carries emulsifiers and sugar alcohols your gut wasn’t built for, and leaves out the micronutrients your muscles quietly depend on.
This is an invitation back. 💛
Back to the table. Back to slower meals. Back to food in the form your body actually recognizes. Back to original design 🤍
