The 2026 vintage harvest is in the books and the wine is making. It has been a hot and dry season that started early and seemed to hang in there just to stay hot and dry. The vines are tired and showing more stress than usual . . . wouldn't you be if you stood in this heat with minimal hydration. But despite that many vines are throwing a second crop. There is maybe enough grapes to make two or three bottles of a blend. Grape vines are just amazing.

Again thanks to the great crew of volunteers that helped so generously to harvest the grapes!

We are open this Saturday and Sunday from 1- 6 PM each day. We will be closed on Monday in honor of Labor Day.

Currated wine tastings of our estate selection, wines by the glass, or bottles to take home.

We will be harvesting some of our specialty grapes this Saturday; Montepulciano, Aleatico, Alicante Bouschet, and Tannat. Some have shriveled and some have bird damage but we harvest the intact clusters and make a special blend.

Come help harvest if you can.

We will be harvesting our estate Syrah tomorrow. We still have a few openings to help us bring in this wonderful variety. Weather is predicted to be much cooler. Our estate Tempranillo is destemmed and crushed. It, Ortega, and Malvasia Bianca are fermenting.

Syrah is this Saturday. We would appreciate your help in harvesting this great variety.

Join us to see the beginning of the vintage to wine.

We will be open as usual on Saturday and Sunday from 1 - 6 PM.

Thank you very much to a great harvest crew that pulled in a ton of estate Tempranillo in about three hours.

Thanks also to our neighbor winery Cooley Bay for help in rounding up volunteers.

Up next is our estate Syrah this coming Saturday.

Will be harvesting our estate Tempranillo this Saturday. It will be a fun and satisfying harvest event with the big clusters of big dark purple grapes.

Please confirm with us by early afternoon on Friday for inclusion in lunch and morning patries.

Please arrive at 6:30 AM. If you have cutters or shears, please bring.

We will be harvesting our estate Malvasia Bianca this Saturday. Roll call is at 6:30 . . . AM

We would greatly appreciate your assistance. If you have not contacted me on your ability to help, please let me know by Friday afternoon, so we can work the support logistics such as breakfast snacks and lunch.

For those who haved not volunteered before, we provide grape cutters, gloves, water, and food. You provide the help with closed-toed shoes. We will have sunscreen, but may not be your brand or preference. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you in advanced.

Note will we stop by 11:00 or when it is too hot. Safety first.

The heat and dry weather have slowed sugar production, but we will harvest Malvasia Bianca next weekend. We are looking for volunteers to help harvest. Let me know if you would like to join the fun and assist. We provide most everything. Let me know if you would like to assist in this harvest.

We are open this weekend, Saturday and Sunday from 1 - 6 PM for currated tastings with the wine maker and wine by the glass and bottle.

As time allows we may be able to slip into the vineyard to taste some grapes

Our full 2026 harvest is almost upon us. Most whites will go first. We start next weekend with Orange Muscat, Gewürtramner, Chardonnay as we have time. Reds are still two to three weeks away.

We will let you know scheduling if you would like to volunteer and help with the 26 vintage. We always start, 6:30 AM, and stop before the extreme heat. We plan for Saturday mornings.
