I am a stay at home Mom who picked up cake creating when my oldest daughter was about to turn one. I wanted to do something special so I made a pony from a shaped pan. Although it seems like such a simple thing now, that was a big step for me to take, considering that I had never done anything like it before! I had a blast with it and quickly picked up other projects. Being self taught, I'm still pretty new to it all and have so much to learn, but I have come a long way since that pony cake! I create cakes for every occasion and have a blast doing it. I make all my cakes and frosting from scratch and try to turn them into something satisfying to both the eye and the tummy! All the time and effort I put in to each creation is worth the reaction I get from family and friends! Baking and creating has become a huge part of my life and I'm loving it!
