We plan on using this guy heavy at our farm.
𝙄𝙉𝙏𝙍𝙊𝘿𝙐𝘾𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝘽𝙇𝘼𝘾𝙆𝙇𝙄𝙎𝙏!!!
Where do we start with this guy?? Take a look at his littermates and its obvious he came from an incredible litter ...boars...barrows...gilts, they were all good and all well received..
For as cool as he looks the pedigree behind him is what gets us fired up!!! Everyone wants to talk "Power in the Blood" and this guy is a poster child for that statement. Let's start with his sire...Blackout needs no introduction in what he has done in producing elite berk females, barrows and boars that not only win at the highest levels, but more importantly BREED ON!!!
He is just as impressive on this dam side of his pedigree. His Grandmother is a Non Typical that was a 16 time champion during her show career and has absolutely produced at the highest level since ending her show career. She is the mother to "Bloch Party " our $12,000 STC entry that was said by many to be the most unique one to be offered in a STC berk boar show that will go down in history as the best ever!!!
She also produced "Glitch" in the same litter, she was the Champion berk gilt and the Minnesota State Fair in 2018.
It does not stop there, "Glitch" as mentioned above is a littermate sister to "Bloch Party " and herself was the champion berk gilt at the 2018 Minnesota State Fair Junior Show. We felt it was a "no brainer" to breed her to Blackout after seeing so many amazing Blackout offspring the last few seasons.
We knew when this litter was born, we had something SPECIAL. Take a look at the littermates below and you will realize what we mean.
Now to "BLACKLIST". It is hard today to find a berk boar that combines some of the extreme traits that Blacklist offers. He is no "D**k" he is a boar that offers added frame size and performance without sacrificing the show ring look. I would challenge anyone to find a heavier b***d, bigger footed boar that is so freaky in his rib shape and depth of flank while still being extreme in his height at the shoulder and the added extension through his head and neck.
We wanted to prove this boar was legit and his has surpassed the high expectations we had for him. Semen quality and litter size was phenomenal and his babies, although they are young, they will be heard from!!! They are "crossbred " looking in terms of muscle and bone and have that same "round rib" that Blacklist has always had. We retained every littermate sister and now that they have farrowed we are even more excited about his generating potential.
