This past week we introduced our legbar chickens to the grass and being outside more.
They are doing great and loving the their little pen. They don't quit know what to think of the bigger hens yet.

Once old enough, they will lay a true blue egg. We are excited to add them to our flock and to watch them grow.

We had a total of 19 Sussex chicks hatch from our last group and all are doing great.

It's been and exciting two days at the farm; we've had 15 Speckled Sussex chicks hatch! With more still trying to hatch....
