I took the last of the seasons Evaporator runnings ( because who wastes that right 😉) Fermented it with our Riverside House Vermont strain yeast and aged it to perfection! Calf 27 for the season. This one was born yesterday around noon and we were questioning whether or not it had sucked or not. We got the mother in the chute last evening and bottle fed it some colostrum. All day today it was more lively but we still questioned it was getting milk. Finally tonight we saw it nursing! What a relief!
