Surprise- a surprise litter of piglets from Gweniviere (who won’t be bred again). Sadly, mom isn’t taking to them so they are in the house getting bottle fed. ❤️

This girl and what I’m calling her twins make me smile! Boy and girl piglets opposite color of one another and always snuggled up together. Frida Kahlo has shown she is an excellent mama after some initial grumpiness, which I don’t blame her for at all. ❤️ She earned it.

I’ll be the first to tell you: farming is one continuous learning curve—and an absolute circus of me pitching wild ideas while Jeff, my right-hand farm man, just shakes his head and trusts me with the family land to build this crazy dream! I also couldn't do it without my fellow female farmers who share endless wisdom on everything from fencing to shearing to butcher. Safe to say, there’s no single right way to farm!

With that in mind, Petey has been busy! Our first round was born in April, and I'll have even more unregistered KuneKune piglets arriving in September. For these first chonker butts, I’m opening up a few options:

❤️Barrows or Gilts: Available to purchase as feeders/growers for your homestead.

❤️Small Roasters: Grown out a few extra months for a traditional, smaller-scale whole-pig roast.

❤️After the New Year (Target ~100 lbs): I manage the grow-out to ~100 lbs for smaller cuts and head to the butcher for fresh post-New Year pork.

Transparency is key on the farm. As I've grown, I've added registered stock to my herd, but these litters are unregistered as I make that transition. Breed integrity is huge to me—I love KuneKunes and want to protect the breed rather than sell un-pedigreed stock that shouldn't be bred. That’s why these littles are preferably sold as homestead feeders or roast/butcher pork.

I want good homes for these littles—folks who will value them or appreciate homegrown food and give me honest feedback on the final product!

We are a local farm rooted in sustainable agriculture, raising Kune Kunes pigs & Icelandic sheep. Producing whole, clean food and proudly featuring local artists, upcycled goods, and other small businesses at our farm stand.

We collaborate with cool people doing cool things, featuring a rotating mix of our own items and regional goods—including fresh produce, honey from our own Honey & Paws Apiary, baked goods, eggs, pottery, wool crafts, and art.

You will also find our Dirt Road Creations line, crafted right here using farm herbs, organic oils, and ingredients from our apiary.

Here’s what’s going on today- other than the crummy air quality! Meat birds got put out, butterflies 🦋, a frizzle chick or two along with some other chocolate 🍫 egg 🥚 layers, some cutie patootie piglets 🐷(the newest ones from Frida), Bootsie, who is still going strong despite having no claws 🐓 , Frida sitting pretty in mud, and of course, Petey Auberry! In no particular order.
