Winter is my favorite season, hands down. The challenges of keeping plants alive in January, along with the promise of an incredible spring refuels me for the next market season.

Kansas never has consistent weather, so I spend my mornings deciding either to open tunnels, or leave them covered, and how many layers I need to go outside. I am enjoying being in the tunnels, taking care of the winter weeds, getting my final seed orders ready, and waiting for spring.

The first picture is my smallest high tunnel, with two of the beds open so you can see the snapdragons, dianthus and campanula. The second picture is Amazon Neon dianthus, and the third is Pink Champion II campanula. Hard to believe that in just a few short months that they will be over 3 foot high, and in my customers hands.

Last year, my niece Arina asked me to do the flowers for her wedding. I love your style, she said, and I trust you.

Arina and Zariah's wedding was beautiful, and the reception was a fun time, as they are obsessed with skating. I am so pleased with the results, and Arina let me share some photos from the wedding to my page.

I am taking bookings for 2023, and 2024. Hubele Farms offers locally grown flowers from May through October, so if your wedding falls in those months, contact me for pricing.

We have ground beef in stock. It's grass fed and finished. It's raised with no hormones or antibiotics. I have 10 pound bundles of ground beef for 50.00 thru Christmas 🎄. If you don't need that much we have it by the pound also. We also have ground goat, and goat roast for 10.00 per pound. I can deliver to Salina and surrounding areas.

Friday Introduction time!

My name is Suzanne Hubele, and I am the owner of Hubele Farms outside Gypsum, Kansas. My husband, Thad, raises Boer cross goats and Longhorn cattle along with layer chickens, and helps me whenever I need it. My daughter, Rachel, and my son Matt help when their school and work schedules allow.

This will be my third year growing for market, and I am looking forward to the summer! New this year are microgreens and bedding plants like tomatoes, peppers, and both garden and cut flower varieties for your own beautiful gardens. We will still be growing flowers for bouquets, vegetables, and mini pumpkins in the fall. As always, we have eggs and a great selection of steaks, specialty cuts and snack sticks.

This year we will be at the markets in Wichita, Salina and Abilene, KS. Stop by and see us!

We have longhorn beef back in stock!! We are at the Kansas Grown Winter Farmer's Market from 8 to 12 today, with KC strip, Ribeye, Ground beef, summer sausage, and snack sticks. We also have eggs, baby salad turnips, radishes and arugula. Stop by and see us!

We have a larger selection of steaks and cuts at the farm. So If you can't make it to the market, we also have started a small store at the house. Message Thad or I if you will be near the farm and want to stock up on beef or vegetables. We will be set up at the Harvest Farmer's Market at the Emmanuel Church behind Dillons on Cloud on Tuesday Evening from 4 to 7.
