Pine Row Farms visited Panama City Beach this week! Perfect weather, perfect water ☀️🏖️ I asked Nelson today if he’d rather live at the beach or at the farm and without hesitation, he said “the farm.” He loved riding the waves and exploring in “the pond” (Philips Inlet) but he’s missing his animals 💙

Meet Chili & Cheese! With their mama, Tot. Get it? Chili Cheese Tots 🤪 The little black one is Chili and the brown one is Cheese. This is the best picture I could get because they are VERY attached to their mom! They won’t let me near them. They are Nubian and Boer mixes. Cheese is pretty chill but if you even think about picking up Chili, she immediately screams and it’s actually pretty funny. They were both born very huge and mama had a hard time getting Chili pushed out. My husband gloved up and pulled her out and then Cheese passed through in a breeze. They hold their own in the herd and fit in just like they’ve always been here! 🫘🧀🥔

Meet Moon Pie 🌙🥧 She is Dixie’s second born and Marbles’ sister (our previous introduction). Moon Pie is a Nigerian Dwarf and Boer mix just like her brother. She is named Moon Pie because of all of her beautiful moon spots! She has the prettiest silver spot that goes down along her neckline. Dixie definitely wins the award for birthing the prettiest babies! Swipe to see Moon Pie’s moon spots ▶️

Continuing with introductions today - Meet Marbles! Marbles is a little buckling born on January 19th. He is Nigerian Dwarf & Boer mix. He is actually the first baby goat born EVER on our farm. If you don’t know, we’ve had 9 kids born this year (8 have survived, I’ll post all of that information soon). All were unexpected as our Buck (now a wether 😅) accidentally got to all of our does and bred all of them but one. His mama is Dixie, our first Nigerian Dwarf. She’s a very special lady to us and she birthed two GORGEOUS sweet babies. Marbles was the first born out of the twins that Dixie kidded. He got his name because his beautiful coloring reminds us of a delicious marble cake 🎂 or the swirls of a marble. He’s fun loving and curious. Very sweet natured. Everyone who visits the farm comments on how beautiful he is. We agree!

We’ve added a lot of new faces on the farm this year so I think it’s time to go back to some introductions! First up - meet Batman. We named him Batman because he’s fully black with a tiny bit of light coloring around his eyes which resembles a mask. He is a full blood black Boer goat. He was born on March 19th and he was one of two little twins. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts of trying to warm his sister after a rough start at life, she didn’t make it 😔 Batman wasn’t thriving at first and I didn’t have very high hopes for him. He was having a hard time nursing and he had some fluid in his nose but his sweet mama was so diligent with him. After about 3 days, he started to perk up and his fluid cleared out finally. Now, he is doing great and his mama is so protective and proud of him 🖤
