I had been craving shrimp all week so I tried a new shrimp scampi recipe and it was definitely a success! I usually make it in the oven and without the wine but this time I tried it stove top with wine and it was delicious!

A new must have! I just stopped by the Sparta farmers market to pick up my first order from and OMG I don’t know how I waited so long to try these! I had an amazing gluten free onion bagel which is almost impossible to find. I also picked up a calzone that I can’t wait to bake tomorrow for lunch! Definitely check them out if you can, you won’t be disappointed 🤩

Seasoned grilled chicken
Romaine
Carrots
Avocado
Granny Smith apple
Fresh mozzarella
Sunflower seeds

Had the best lunch date yesterday with at my favorite place. Mama’s cafe baci never disappoints.

They brought out gluten free bread and a sample of their special of the day to start. Then I had gluten free chicken Marsala with with penne and we split gluten free mini cannolis for dessert.

As always I left very full and very happy!

Had a really nice lunch not too long ago at bonefish grill with my cousin. We had sangria and shared a meal.

We got the steak and shrimp dinner with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Everything was really great except the broccoli was not cooked at all. We didn’t mind though, we actually thought it was pretty funny. Our bartender was great and we still had a nice lunch!

They did have a dedicated gluten free menu so you could easily see what options were available and the staff seemed pretty knowledgeable.

Made such a good taco salad this passed week! It had grilled seasoned chicken, black beans, corn, carrots, red onion, shredded cheese, crunchy tortilla pieces and spicy ranch. This is one of my go to salads and never disappoints! I usually put some avocado on there too but I ran out this week.
I love making different salads throughout the week and throwing as many colorful ingredients in there as I can!

Tried a new restaurant this weekend. The Sizzle BBQ in newton just opened a few months ago and we had been dying to get over there and try it! I got the BBQ pork ribs, grilled veggies and a strawberry margarita. They weren’t super knowledgeable about gluten free diets but the server was very kind and did his best to accommodate. Everything tasted delicious and we left very full and happy!

Happy Tuesday my fellow foodies. I wanted to share with you a meal prep idea that I tried out for the first time last week. It turned out great and I was able to eat it for lunch or for breakfast! It was also pretty healthy and gave me plenty of veggies to start my day!

Ingredients:
Sweet potato
Mixed bell peppers
Onion
Spinach
Breakfast ham
Olive oil
Seasoning…I used salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika

I got 5 single serving containers out of this to last me the work week.

Hi fellow foodies! I Wanted to share this muffin mix with everyone because it’s so easy and so delicious! I made them recently and it’s definitely one of my favorites. It’s all natural ingredients, organic and gluten free. My favorite are the banana muffins but I believe there’s pumpkin and chocolate flavors too. This is a great thing to make for a quick breakfast or snack when you’re meal prepping because it makes 12 muffins and most of the ingredients minus the sugar are healthy!

Starting the weekend off right with Friday night pizza! I had heard so much about on gluten free groups that I just had to stop in and try it for myself! I got the gluten free Detroit style crust pizza and omg it was delicious. I have to warn you it was so thick and doughy I couldn’t eat more than one slice which is kind of amazing since almost all gluten free pizza is thin crust. I will definitely be eating the left overs all weekend long! What a great way to start the weekend!
