If strawberries are involved, I’m in.

I don’t know what it is about these strawberry cookies, but they just make me happy. Maybe it’s the bright colors, maybe it’s because strawberries mean summer is finally here, or maybe they’re just too cute to resist.

These little berries were such a fun set to decorate and were almost too cute to package up and send out! ❤️

Custom cookies are one of my favorite ways to celebrate the season, and nothing says summer quite like fresh strawberries.

I don’t think I’ve thought about that song since kindergarten, but as soon as I finished decorating these happy little sunshine cookies, it popped right into my head.

Then I found myself smiling, thinking about singing it with my mom when I was little. 💛

This past weekend we celebrated my amazing husband ‘s birthday 🥳

When we first started dating, I asked him what his favorite dessert was…and without hesitation he said Ninja Turtle Pies. Honestly, one of the most nostalgic favorites ever 😂

So for the last 9 years, I’ve made him TMNT hand pies for his birthday. This year I decided to switch it up and make an actual pie version - and honestly, it came out pretty good! It may have been missing the iconic green glaze, but it still had all the same sugary, Puddin’ Power goodness we remembered 🤣🐢💚
