Herman the house chicken, for now. 😂

After a leg injury, he’s been enjoying the indoor life while he recovers. Thankfully, he’s doing much better and shouldn’t be too much longer before he’s back out with the rest of the flock.

But let this be your reminder to ALWAYS check your chickens’ leg bands! We got Herman a while ago as a chick, and I never noticed he had one. Yes I look them up and down but this dude has some serious leg feathering! Fast forward to two weeks ago when he started limping really badly… turns out the poor guy had a little elastic band stuck around his leg. 😭

Thankfully, we caught it in time and he’s recovering well. So check those legs, even on the fluffy guys like Herman! 🖤

The goats are out of the bag… our brand new website launches October 1st!

We’ve been working behind the scenes to make shopping easier, reordering your favorites simpler, and adding new subscription options, resources, blog posts, and more.

One of our biggest goals is making it easier for us to reach you guys, and making ordering your everyday essentials simple. We believe making the swap to better products should be easy, too.

We’re so excited for you to see it. October 1st can’t get here soon enough!

You can still order from our current site, but come the first you'll want to check out the new site!

Sh****rs full once again. 😂

Mrs. Puff has apparently convinced her friends that being broody is the latest trend. Little do they know, we’re separating the color pens, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that breaks them of it.

Our primary pens include Black, Paint, Mottled & Lavender. Right now, Black and Paint are the only ones laying, while the other two pens are still maturing🖤

✨🆓 MOTTLED SILKIE ROOSTER ✨ claimed

We’re looking for a GOOD home for this guy, so ask your husband first 😂 And if you have a known coyote or hawk problem, he might not be the one for you… Silkies are basically bite-sized.

FCFS, no holds.

We aren’t in a hurry to move him, but we’ve decided to use his brother for our breeding program instead. He comes from great lineage and would make a nice addition to the right flock.

We are NPIP certified.✅

So, if he sounds like the right fit send us a PM🖤
