Cool foggy mornings and warm afternoons, it doesn’t get much better than the weather we’ve been having. Our animals have also been loving the perfect weather for their favorite activity: grazing the day away!

We are so excited to welcome our newest addition to the farm, Didicas aka Roman! This stunning 11 year old gelding was generously donated to us by the Bernstein Family. He has been here less than a week and already stolen all of our hearts! As you can see, he seems to like his new field and is enjoying a few of his old favorite treats including Arctic Blue Gatorade and German Stud Muffins.

Roman comes with another exciting announcement! 📣 This fall we are welcoming the UMass Equestrian Team back to the farm! 📣 We are so appreciative of everyone’s support in making this happen!

Thank you again for sending Roman our way! We cannot wait to see all that he accomplishes with our students!

Happy Fourth of July ! 🇺🇸 🎆 We are so thankful to have an incredible crew who take such great care of our animals through what could otherwise be a stressful holiday for them, especially during this heat wave! Wishing everyone a happy, healthy and safe holiday weekend!

Over the last two days we have been so lucky to host Shawna Corrin Karrasch and Jessie Hillegas for a continued education course for our equine faculty in positive reinforcement training for our horses! Their mission aligns with our goals to educate our students on equine welfare while also teaching safe and effective handling techniques. As you can see, Bay State Inez was a very willing participant!

Thank you Shawna and Jessie for making the trip and sharing your knowledge, we hope to have you back at the farm soon!

On Thursday we hosted a mini 20-year-reunion for members of the class of ‘06 who rode on the UMass Equestrian Team here at the farm! It was such a lovely afternoon hearing their great stories about their time at the farm, introducing them to our current Morgans, our latest additions the Cleveland Bays, and even a few of the goats!

Thank you to alumni Sheena, Chelsea, Ruby, Ariel and Richard for coming and for your continued support for our program!

Calling all you Morgan lovers! Please join us in welcoming Journey’s Falyn Spirit to our herd!

“Razzle” is a stunning 15 year old mare by BCT Gentleman in Black out of June’s Yvonne Spirit (B-Bar-D Flashy Dondero x Wendys June). This lovely lady was donated to us by UMass alumni and longtime Morgan breeder Mary Parker. We are so excited to have Razzle join our herd and be a part of our student lesson program and future breeding endeavors! Thank you Mary for your amazing donation!
