Firstly: thank you all for your support so far! We appreciate you being here.
Many of you have expressed interest in purchasing, and the number one question has been WHERE CAN I BUY?! 🛒
We absolutely love the energy and want to share our potential timeline.
TLDR: we are hoping to have jars ready to sell in 2 months or less!
Firstly, Frank needs to work on his health department certification as a requirement to join the kitchen team at the local college, where we will be mixing, filling, and packaging the spices. To ship out of Maryland, all of the production needs to be done in a certified kitchen. The cert. classes take 8 hours, and then we need to pay the health department to finalize it. We then also need to pay for our membership to the kitchen.
After we are in, we will then be using the $500 grant to purchase the materials we need to make this happen, like jars, labels, bulk powders, and shipping supplies!
From there, we imagine we will need about two weeks for testing, production, and packaging to have jars ready to ship.
In the meantime, we are going to continue to work on recipes, work on our marketing, and focus on getting our Kickstarter campaign up and running, so keep an eye out for that!
