Upper Stem Brewery is a small-batch craft brewery located just north of the city of Hagerstown in scenic Washington County, Maryland. We craft a wide selection of artisan beers and augment each one with ingredients grown and harvested from our farm, and from farms
and orchards in our immediate area. It doesn’t get fresher than this! Our taproom offers a variety of artisinally crafted beers on tap at a time. 16-oz 4-pack cans are also available for carryout. There is plenty of outdoor space as well, grab a wooded spot and escape with a sample flight or two! We try to host a local food truck on weekends but always welcome you to bring your favorite meal to go and carry it in, along with many delivery options. We're happy to help you pair it with our beer. Upper Stem is a family owned and operated craft brewery therefore we encourage a family friendly enviornment, you are welcome to bring your kiddos along. We ask that you supervise them closely due to the brewing equipment. There is plenty of open outdoor space for them to enjoy! All dogs are welcomed at Upper Stem Brewery, including the taproom as long as they're leashed. We ask that you be responsible for picking up after them.
