I am heading back into the kitchen this week after taking last week off to care for Buster. After keeping a careful eye on him and monitoring his situation, I decided to postpone his appointment last Thursday. This gave him the weekend to visit with all his pup friends and lots of visits from his favorite people. He is enjoying his days, however we do know those are very limited. Right now, we are just taking the day by day and living each one like it's his last.

That being said, I will be working on making pierogi in between taking care of my boy. I'll have limited flavors and quantities for the next couple weeks at least.

This week I'll be at the Washington County Farmers Market on Wednesday from 3pm-6pm with hot pierogi and Brunswick Main Street Farmers Market on Friday from 4pm-7pm with frozen pierogi. Hope you'll come join us!

Punk 'N Peasant Pierogi won't be at the Boonsboro or Mount Airy markets this week. Our priority is with our 14 year old puppers, Buster. He has been the joy and light in our lives for a very long time now. We are taking some time off to make sure his last days are absolutely spectacular and to help him across the rainbow bridge lovingly and peacefully.

Thank you for understanding. I'll update everyone when I am ready to go back to the kitchen to pinch pierogi and attend markets.

A couple of weeks ago, Punk N' Peasant Pierogi had to miss the market thanks to some unexpected car trouble. The good news? Everything's been fixed, and they asked if they could make it up to everyone by joining us this Saturday. ...As if we'd ever say no to pierogi.

Last month Punk N' Peasant SOLD OUT, and we have no doubt they're fixing to do it again when they return to the market this Saturday with their famous pierogi.

Whether you're loyal to the classics or looking to try something new, these handmade pierogi have been earning quite a following around here. Folks line up early, stock up, and many left wishing they'd bought one more package.
