Shout out to the mastermind keeping your glasses full—our head brewer, Luke Bagnall!

Luke joined the crew back in September, and we honestly couldn't ask for a better guy running the brewhouse. Not only has he been doing an incredible job making sure the beer is tasting better than ever, but he is also an absolute pleasure to work with every single day.

Luke brings some serious, world-class credentials to the Sawtooth Brewery team:
He holds a B.S. in Fermentation Science & Technology (with a minor in Food Safety) from Colorado State University.
He earned his Master Brewer Certification from the prestigious VLB Berlin in Germany!

He’s been refining his craft in the industry since 2016, bringing valuable experience from favorites like Prost Brewing Company, SweetWater, and Breckenridge Brewery.

From running labs to mastering German brewing techniques, Luke has done it all—and it shows in every single pour.

Next time you’re hanging out at the Tap Room or Public House and see Luke, give him a huge pat on the back and let him know just how good the beer has been! ️🍺

ThrowbackThursday to that time the Hailey dump was looking a little too familiar… 😂

We rolled up to drop off our recycling and found the bin completely filled to the brim with Idahome cans! We’re not sure who is responsible for this absolute legendary effort, but we respect the dedication to drinking local.

Hey, at least we know the valley stays well-hydrated! Cheers to keeping Idaho beautiful and recycling those cans.

It’s medal season, and the pressure is on!

We just packed up and shipped out our fresh beer samples for this year's competitions. The brewing team has been working around the clock, and honestly, the beer is tasting better than ever right now. We are incredibly excited to see how this batch stacks up.

Now, it’s all in the hands of the judges. 🤞

To get hyped, we’re looking back at some of our favorite wins from past years at the North American Brewers Association (NABA) Competitions! Check out these throwbacks of the hardware we've brought home to the Wood River Valley.
