Aloha Everyone!
Thank you so much for your continued support! We have been blessed with a huge amount of love from family, friends and the community asking how we are and how they can help! After the initial emotional shock and overcoming family illness post storms we are ready to begin the rebuilding process.

Our family is ok, we are blessed to be surrounded by amazing loving people! Our farm, the source of our families income, however is not ok. One of our newly built high tunnels collapsed, and another’s cover ripped apart. We will need to remove the debris, purchase a new and rebuild. We lost produce in the refrigerator while the power was out, crops in the field from flooding, disease, wind and rain damage. As time passes we are discovering more of the storms effects on our farm as we wait for the field to dry out. The path forward will be a long process of clearing damaged crops, rehabilitating the soil fertility, building beds, seeding a new nursery, replanting and growing again. We will also be focusing on soil conservation and preventative measures to help with possible future events. To donate link ink Bio

So proud of Sera and Astrid running their Spartan races! They had so much fun and can’t wait to do it again next year! We love that we can all do it as a family!

Astrid ran the whole course and killed it on the obstacles. Her goal for next year is to have us time her and do the kids trifecta. She is very competitive!

Sera did the 3k and found that she is a sprinter by nature. So her goal for next year is to do the kids trifecta. To accomplish that she is going to train running longer distances. This race was a great learning experience and motivation for next year!

Excited to hike and spend more time playing, running, moving and climbing together as a family❤️

I accomplished my goal- I finished the 2025 Trifecta!! And the second day I completed the rings!! It really felt good to finish! Now I feel even more driven to do hard stuff!

Dr Jodi helped me dial in my nutrition with clean keto, then three days before the weekend fat load. She cares soooooooooooo much about her patients and the community!!! If you want to reclaim your health it starts with food, check her out!!! She will help you change your life!

Next year, my goal is to race the beast for time!! To prepare I will signup for trail masterclass and start trail running!

Sunday Spartan Beast 2025!

In 2024 without training or taking the race seriously I managed to complete the Beast by myself but my knees and legs were so sore I couldn’t walk the next day. I only completed one obstacle- the Tyrolean traverse (pulling myself upside down across a ratchet rope incline). After hobbling and jumping over the fire pit I decided next year I was going to do the trifecta (5k, 10k and 21k in a weekend).

2025 is my year to thrive.
So at the beginning of the year, I started eating Keto again and moving more. I completed MovNat cert 1 and 2 and did things I didn’t know I was capable of. I tightened up my lifestyle to align with how humans are meant to live. I got better sleep, meditated, added more natural movement and breath work , spent time with family and community, got time out in the sun daily, learned new things that interested me, and challenged myself with hard stuff getting out of my comfort zone and that gave me a personal sense of accomplishment.

Then in June I started going to Spartan training. He is an amazing coach, athlete and person! I learned tips and tricks on the obstacles, met amazing people and had so much fun!!! There were people of all levels there from beginners to elite competitors!

On Saturday I did the Beast with Jason. It was so fun, usually he competes for time and sprints off by himself. But this year he stayed with me. I was able to complete ALL but TWO of the obstacles (29/30) this year (the slippery rotating monkey bars and rings got me)! My knee was sore the first day and I wasn’t sure if I would be able to race the second day. But I rested and rolled out my legs and on Sunday I decided this is my year!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mamas! You are amazing!

Happy Mother’s Day to my lovely mom ! Love you so much!! I really appreciate you and it only grows more everyday as I raise two girls! Your strength and perseverance throughout the obstacles in life that you’ve overcome is such an inspiration for me to never give up! I hope to be as great of a mother as you and grandmother one day! Thank you for showing your love for our family everyday! We love you❤️

To our delight we are blessed with the birth of a lamb yesterday morning. We were expecting a different pregnant one to deliver and didn’t even know the mama was actually pregnant! SURPRISE!!!!

Sera cooked me up some of her organic pastured chicken eggs and some crispy bacon with a fresh mango. She reminded me that it’s not how it looks it’s how it tastes that’s important! It was definitely delicious!

Thank you for supporting Astrid’s mint garden and sera’s flower garden and arrangement making!!! Can’t wait to taste the pineapple mint juice and see the flowers besides the beautiful art all the hardworking farm school kids created at the art show tonight!!!

We love you Aunty Bria and the Island Māla farm school!!! It’s so much fun they don’t even know how much they are learning and absorbing!!!
