It's that time guys! Summer Live Music in our Beer Garden is back!

Starting Saturday May 16th, we'll be hosting free live music performances every Saturday and Sunday in The Beer Garden. The Beer Garden is located on the restaurant grounds, towards the northern side of the building (same address as our restaurant address, 390 Capistrano Road Half Moon Bay). Each performance is from 1-4pm. Order drinks and food from the bar area, and grab an open seat!

Today is Mavericks Community Foundation's Coastside Gives 2026! We're a proud sponsor of this communal giving day, where over 78 coastside nonprofits work together to gather donations on the same day (plus they get to win prizes too! All of these photos were taken to win a social media prize). Speaking of prizes, the Power Hour we sponsored is happening right now. Small nonprofits are competing from 8am-9am for the most unique donor count, winner gets $1,000. Surprise! Join us for a special Pop-Up Brews&Views happening tomorrow night: a community discussion about U.S. politics today with Dr. Ann Marie Slaughter, moderated by Lenny Mendonca, and with support from Coastside Democratic Club.

Dr. Slaughter is a globally recognized scholar, public leader and policy expert, whose distinguished career spans academia, government and civil society. She currently serves as CEO of the think tank New America, a position she has held since 2013. Previously, she was the first woman to hold the position of Director of Policy Planning for the US State Department, and is the Bert G. Kerstetter ’66 University Professor Emerita at Princeton University, where she served as Dean of the School of Public and International Affairs from 2002-09. She was previously a professor of foreign, international, and comparative law at Harvard Law School. She is the author or editor of nine books and a contributing editor for the Financial Times. Dr. Slaughter will join LSE in January 2027, taking full responsibility as Dean in February 2027.
