Such a busy life and at the same time "what do I get done"? It is wonderful to be here in Halfway, Ore. Yes you may ask "where/what is Halfway?" Well in my humble opinion its Halfway to Heaven. Its a small quiet community in Baker Co. Ore, with great people, outstanding mountain views and did I mention quiet. It has been almost a year of residence for us. We lived in Union Co. for 37 yrs, so moving was out of character for us, but when we first saw this place 2 yrs ago we both said, "we could live here" and we do!

Just a few pix of the gang in early Feb. Bailey (LGD) made the move with us in Nov. she is such a faithful soul. I think she misses her acreage, but is adjusting well. She is 14 this year, doesn't jump fences anymore to pursue. But ever on the alert. We love her. I only brought 7 goats with, and still seems like "what happened to the rest", no babies this year, but it was a wise decision. Laci is one with all the facial hair and that was my choice, kinda a natural eye guard, keeps the others safer. I will give her a trim soon. All the rest are doing goat things, and are fat and happy. Well that is what they tell me any how. I am already thinking about bucks for this fall...... WHAT!

I suppose I should update this page once in a while. It has been so busy lately. Getting ready for Ore fiber festival in Canby, so much to do so little time, but I guess if I didn't wait till the last minute that might help PLUS we are getting packed for a move. So life is a little hecktic.... I am down to 7 goats and it seems kinda funny to look out and see only 7 in the field. will keep you posted on what is next on the horizon.
