Alot to update:

My Sunny boy passed in July '25. Was very heartbreaking.

Few weeks after, I added a Zombie rooster (Walker) and a gold deathlayer hen (Phoenix).

Then in November, added 4 young new hens that are rare breeds... 2 silverrudd blue (Grey&blk similar to sassphire gems "luna"). And 2 mosiacs (b&w speckled).
These 4 didn't have names yet. Normally I name them within couple days of getting chickens.. but there was one that possibly was a roo and needed to make sure with waiting a few weeks.
But they would of had galaxy names.

After losing Sunny.. my first and who started it all of having chickens... he was my friendly boy that followed me around outside and hung out with me. It wasn't the same after... it was extremely hard to bring myself to take care of them regularly. My husband helped out more. Although i still loved them dearly and loved watching them, was still sad with Sunny gone.

I made the extremely hard decision to rehome everyone. It was difficult with getting ready in mornings and having time to do everything of critter care and with my back.. zack's aches, money being tight, not getting much eggs etc..
12/13/25...The last 2 ducks- Emy and Sassy went to live at my cousin's (JeffZ) that has alot of other ducks.
The 4 new unnamed ones and Phoenix went back to their original home at my neighbors, who i got them from.
12/15/25 Walker the roo and the 6 oldest hens (Comet, Luna, Nova, Littlefoot, Petrie and Ducky) went to live on a farm on small valley rd in Halifax. That will let them live out their lives even if they aren't laying eggs anymore.
I'll be able to still see them when I want to.
