We are saddened at the loss of our amazing insurance agent, friend, owner and brewmaster at Factory Street Brewing, Brigid. Our little town lost a great soul yesterday. Our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and our friends at Factory Street Brewing Company

Our hearts are broken at the loss of our owner, brewer, but most importantly, our friend, Brigid Moran Layman. Brigid passed peacefully yesterday due to complications from Type I diabetes.

She lived big and she loved big. To know her was an honor and a joy shared by all of us, her husband, Adam, Mom, Eileen, and COUNTLESS friends! We all hold each other a little closer tonight recognizing how fragile and beautiful life is.

We will be closed to the public through Dec. 29 and reopen Dec 30. We will be planning a big celebration for our girl, with laughter, music, and stories....but for now we just need a minute to be sad together.

So we will gather tonight 6-8pm at Factory Street come share a memory, get a hug from people who love Brigid. ❤️

ETA: A Celebration of Life will be held at Factory Street Thursday, Dec 21st 6pm-8pm.

Do you love picking grapes?! So do we! Blevins Family Vineyards in Scottsburg is looking for harvest help starting this Saturday, September 3rd. This seasonal position will be open until the end of September or as needed. Most harvests will be on the weekends. Must be able to lift 30 lbs grape bins to short distances. If interested, please send us a message ASAP!
