After many, many years of packing up my little pickup and heading out to markets, shows and events to sell my plants, I have decided to reduce my focus on plants and feature Herbal Wellness, Live Well With Herbs. Blends, body care products, aromatic bitters and more for you. Most seasons I’ll still have herb plants for your gardens, with a focus on plants for herbal tea. I love talking about the everyday uses of herbs for health and vitality, how to grow them and how to prepare them for use. I do no keep regular hours here. An hour and a half or so from most of Austin. The property, our farm, is graced with huge live oak trees amid pastureland. The Herb Cottage is “countrified”... meaning no asphalt or cement pathways. Customers wander about enjoying the gardens as much as selecting plants to take home. Aside from visiting The Herb Cottage, there are many other attractions in the area: wineries, the Shiner Brewery, antique shops and more.
