Great day for my kids at the Wild West Rodeo….

Kenzley was the ALL AROUND Champion winning a trophy SADDLE & some more hardware. She won Barrels, poles and goats with her personal best time (7.7 sec goat run). She caught in open break away but missed in Junior.

Colten got 3rd in All Around with some of his personal best runs. Maui finally hit that 20 sec in the poles and I could not be more proud both of them. You all know how much I love Maui and it brings me so much joy seeing him & Colten stepping it up.

Carmia also placed in peewee All around but I will edit this post once I found out where. She got 2nd in Poles & Keyhole. Barrels she forgot to go to left barrel 1st but her and Diggity are so consistent and makes a good team.

Can’t thank Mandan Horse & Saddle club enough for putting on these family friendly rodeos. We absolutely love them and can’t wait for next year.

Junior High Rodeo has started back up for Kenzley, Della & Lena. They had one heck of a great start & weekend in Parshall. Hard work & dedication paying off!!

Day 1 - All Around cowgirl Champion 🏆
🥇 1st in Break away roping on Lena (2.9 sec)
🥇 1st in Barrel Racing on Della
🥈 2nd in Goat tying (8.8 sec)
Poles she would have won with a smoking her 20.1sec +5 (barely tipped). Such a bummer since she has been so good & consistent at home practicing.

Day 2 - All Around cowgirl Champion 🏆
1st 🥇 in Barrel racing
3rd 🥉 Break away roping (4.1 sec)
2nd 🥈 Ribbon Roping with partner Triton
1st 🥇 in Pole bending (19.8sec)
Bought some dirt in gaat tying. Thankfully she was is ok. 😂

Thank you to all our friends for cheering and supporting especially ouma who never misses a rodeo. Kerry Kuhn for really helping Kenzley stepped it up in her Break away roping. Allan Voeller for taking care of the horses feet, Lindy West from Cedar Creek Equine Performance for taking care of their health & Twin Buttes Fairgrounds crew for allowing us to get our rodeo horses shape in their beautiful facility!!! Love our rodeo family and community. It takes a village and we have a great one!!!

Took Ain’t Seen Native Yet ‘Kewlaide’ and Lil Mr Illuminator ‘Pistol’ up to the barn to trim feet and let them run around since it’s been so icy… they had a such great time! 😄
