Getting some warm weather and the calves are enjoying it!
I would like to say we are getting into the tail end of calving but the commercial herd is just getting started.
Then it will be hoping we get some moisture, preferably rain 😉

Here is a quality set of BWF replacement heifers. All out of bulls that were purchased from Pelton Polled Herefords.
These heifers are weighing between 650 and 750 lbs.

That’s a wrap on our 2026 Cattlemen’s Choice Sale. We want to say a sincere thank you to everyone who joined us at the ranch, bid online, helped behind the scenes, and supported our program in any way.

We’re grateful for our long-time customers and for the new faces who took the time to get to know our cattle this year. Seeing these bulls and females go to work in good programs is what makes the work worth it, and we truly appreciate the trust you place in us.

Thank you to our family, friends, and crew who put in the time leading up to sale day and helped everything run smoothly. We couldn’t do it without you.

It’s sale day! We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to the ranch today for our 2026 Cattlemen’s Choice Sale. Whether you’re joining us in person or bidding online, we appreciate you taking part and being here with us.

Today’s schedule:
Lunch will be served at 12 PM, and the sale will begin at 1 PM MST.

If this is your first time visiting the ranch, we are located northwest of Halliday on the plains of western North Dakota. Please allow yourself plenty of travel time, especially if road conditions are less than ideal.
