The Chef and The Frog The Chef & The Frog 🐸 is bringing a higher level of multicultural dining to rural Whiteville, North Carolina, and that deserves recognition. Pulled up for lunch with Perry Frink of Partaking with Perry and enjoyed great customer service, a welcoming atmosphere, and an elevated dining experience. Shoutout to The Chef and The Frog 🐸 for bringing something different to the local food scene — I’ll definitely be back to see what dinner is hitting on!

Hidden gem alert in Raleigh, NC! 📍 Raleigh Soul Kitchen, tucked inside a corner-store-style spot directly on the corner of Bragg Street and Garner Road, is putting out some seriously good soul food. The neighborhood might have you keeping your head on a swivel—if you know, you know—but the quality coming out of that kitchen had me coming back with a friend so he could try it too. 🔥

Pulled up on S.T.F Catering by Scottie Freeman in Leland, NC, a brand-new, Black-owned, family-operated catering business, and they’re off to a solid start! Mr. Scotty and the crew had those tender ribs with homemade BBQ sauce hitting, along with some good chicken & rice and baked beans. I got there late and missed a few items, but what I tried definitely showed potential. Keep working, keep building, and keep that grill smoking! 🔥

Pulled up to Williamson's Barbecue in Chadbourn, NC around lunchtime, and first things first—the barbecue is some of the best around here! Whoever was in that kitchen did their damn thing… except on them green beans. 😂 Them things wasn’t hitting on nothing—NADA! Even had a little fly partner keeping me company while I ate, but with drive-thru and walk-in service, I ain’t tripping. Overall, solid food and a cool experience.
