Woohoo! Hallsville Farmers & Artisans Market is starting June 10th! Here at Frantic Farm we don’t know if we will have geese to offer this year but the garden is in progress and we are excited for another growing season!

Kick off June 10th same day as the area garage/yard sales!! We are excited to see everyone!!

Beautiful warm-ish January day made for a perfect day to finally build a raised bed for early spring planting. 👩‍🌾
We found garage doors going to the junkyard and reused them as the walls.
👀Lookout for early cabbage and broccoli 🤞

Never truly predator proof…

Duck on the top is healing from a nasty leg wound from a small predator a couple weeks ago. She is starting to put a little weight on the foot and this morning she laid an egg!!

On the bottom this hen was flopping around in the pond, my husband noticed and jumped into the pond to rescue her from a large snapping turtle! Her webbing got ripped but thankfully nothing was broken and she is close to going back in with the flock.

They are only in these cages at night so the drakes leave them alone. They get the whole duck house to themselves when the other ducks go to the pond during the day. ❤️
