Good mornin my healthyish friends!!! Have you heard about The Gluten Free Cupboard ??? You guys, you can get fresh baked gluten free bread locally!!! And it is wonderful!! It has a nice crusty outside and soft center!😍 We are on our 2nd loaf of sandwich bread and can't wait to try out the bread bowls for the first time!
This morning I couldn't decide if I just wanted avocado on sourdough or a little fruit spread. So I did both!🤪

You can come a knocking but you can't necessarily come in!😉

God had been telling me to pivot (for a while) last year but my flesh wanted to do what I wanted to do. I thank God for his provisions and protections when I was doing things of my own power and not His direction! I also am grateful to the FRIENDS I made during that season who shared their advice, wisdom, expertise, love, support and prayed over me.

So I have been working on something since we closed the doors to the 174 kitchen the end of July. I can't wait to share more with you!

Ready for another update???👷‍♀️

The room has been completely releveled and I am hoping the very last skim coat of mud applied to repair all of the cracking from releveling!!!🥳
Today, we will be working on sanding the walls one last time and prepping to texture!
The new porch has been designed and hardware ordered. So soon I will be able to update you on the exterior work!

Heyo!!! I hope you guys are feeling as blessed by this rain as I am!!
It did interrupt my progress outside today a little but I still made a dent. No pics to show for it though. The rain set in before I could get any. I've been working on ripping our more concrete and getting any random nails etc removed from the shiplap so as soon as we know we are in the clear and have our plan we can open up the old shiplap and replace it with new hardie board.
So instead here is a praise report!!! This is our precious Christmas. She is one of our oldest and most beloved hens. As you can see in this video I shot a few days ago she was not doing well. We notice she wasn't roosting in her normal high spot at night, she was very weak but getting around and definitely having lots of difficulty breathing. I just told Piper about it yesterday. When the rain stops and she gets to running around again I'll shoot a video for y'all because she roosted up on the highest part of the coop last night and has been foraging all day! So she's regained some strength and energy!!🙌 She also doesn't seem to be having any breathing issues. We are praying she is over the worst and is on the mend as it appears since last night. 🙏

So I am shocked that I got to it after shopping in town this afternoon AND cooking dinner, but here is today's progress....

So I am shocked that I got to it after shopping in town this afternoon AND cooking dinner, but here is today's progress. 😀

I got all of the sanding done, swept up as much dust as possible, mudded the ceiling patch and just got done skim coating the west wall. I am hoping it doesn't crack too much but it will some. Please let this be the last skim coat, Lord. 🙏

I plan to sand both the west wall and ceiling tomorrow as well as skim coat anything that is in need. 👍

After deeper thought we will NOT be texturing next. We will actually jump back outside and start ripping off old shiplap, repair the rott damage and get new siding up. 🥹

How you guys been???😀

You might have heard that I injured my shoulder and it had me taking it easy for a bit.😬

I'm excited to report that we are on the mend! I still am not supposed to be lifting but that hasn't stopped me from a fun cupcake project and some bakery remodel work with my other arm this week!😅
