My Kunekune story. So I saw Kunekunes for the first time years ago and wanted one but prices were high.. all registered were out of my price range so I settled for a cross and Paisley came from Cheri Beth Bowen in Mississippi. A year or so later I bought my first registered Kunes from Jamie Gaskin in Searcy and the rest is history! Stock from Arkansas (Pig Trail Kunekunes) as well as Louisiana (Liberty Farms) and even Oklahoma have been on my farm. I have raised many pigs for our freezer as well as farm consumption for local folks and as of today I have pigs available and can’t even give them away.. the market is definitely saturated and down… I see farms trading pigs for bloodlines and haven’t even had those offers.. I’m looking at dispersal of all but two of my pigs. I can make a breeding pair or several. PM me..
