One of the few surviving farms in the New Haven County, Vignola's Farm is a family-run business supplying fresh, local grown produce. From strawberries in the spring to corn and tomato's in the summer to fresh collard greens in the fall we grow and sell them all on our 23 acre farm located in Hamden, Connecticut. Summer isn’t over yet, and neither is tomato season!!!🍅
Our tomato crop got a late start, but it’s making up for lost time and coming in by the DROVES. Eggplant has started back up again, and even some squash will be ready soon! Keith Sr. will be hanging around the stand for a bit today. If you stop by and don’t see him, there’s a light pink cash box on the left near the bigger gourds for self-serve purchases.

Just dropped off a whole bunch of butternut squash + DECORATIVE gourds, grown with a little help from our friends at Muzio’s Farm in North Haven! 🎃 There’s something about that North Haven soil… Squash of all kinds and pumpkins just seem to flourish there!! We love working with other small farms in our community to bring you the best. It’s a little early but they were ready to be picked and I’ve already started to see some Christmas décor in stores so I figured you all wouldn’t mind🧡Next week we’ll start bundling up corn stalks + firewood bundles, making the farmstand your one stop shop for all things autumn ambiance. 😌🍂

Happy Sunday! ☀️ Our eggs sell out so quickly, I barely even have time to post that they’re here! We’re officially sold out again this weekend! 🥚 We’re so incredibly grateful for all of our neighbors who continue to stop by, shop local, and support the farm! It’s such an honor to be a staple stop in the neighborhood and to be able to provide fresh, low-intervention produce and farm-fresh eggs from essentially some of your backyards.🤍 We are also sold out of corn for the season but stand is stocked today with honey, eggplant, fresh basil, several varieties of tomatoes, and a few flowers I borrowed from the bees. 🐝🌸🍅🍆 Thank you all love you all enjoy your Sunday🤍👨🏻‍🌾

Happy Wednesday! The farm is closed today as Farmer Keith is out training for his 3rd century ride with Bike to the Beach! (And the fields are muddy af from the rain🤪) The 100 mile bike ride is raising money to support to charities in our community that assist persons with disabilities. If you would like to donate to Keith’s team there is a link below! Happy Monday! We had such a busy weekend at the farm and down at the stand! We’re freshly stocked up with corn- 🚨 this may be the last week of it!! 🚨 a few different kinds of tomatoes, eggplants, some peppers and some cukes! It is such a blessing to be having trouble keeping everything in stock. 🍆🍯🍅We felt so lucky this weekend and are so thankful for all of your support and hope you are enjoying the yummy produce!🌽 I can’t think of anything better than to start your week with supporting local agriculture and cooking with fresh, low intervention grown healthy veg! 🌶️The farmstand is self serve- cash in the light pink box on the left hand side of the stand or venmo! Happy Friday everyone!!! Happy Saturday✨🌽 good news! the farmstand is fully stocked with freshly picked corn, cherry tomatoes, zucchini, eggplant, string beans, yellow squash and now some butternut squash!!! Keith senior is down at the stand today stop by and say hello to him and pick up something colorful and fresh!
bad news 😕 there will be no eggs tomorrow 😭 I know I’m sorry😭😭😭 we plan on having a plentiful bounty next Sunday as the girls are finally over the heat, and the babies we got this winter are really getting in the swing of it. Fresh corn + local honey = weekend plans all figured out! The corn is fresh picked, sweet, and about as close to the field as you can get. We keep our growing practices simple meaning no insecticides and no spraying on the corn. Just good soil, sun, rain, a little irrigation when needed, and a bit of fertilizer when it was originally planted. Honey is stocked alongside the corn for this weekend! So if you’ve got some free time, grab both! I will be putting them to work so a batch of honey cornbread may be in the farms kitchen future. Hope you all are having a lovely week!
