I was recently getting my grocery order together and noticed something insane. Beef prices!

Grocery store angus beef prices:
T-Bone: $13.99/lbs
Filet Mignon: $26.99/lbs
Ribeye: $18.99/lbs
Sirloin: $12.00/lbs
Roast: $8.99/lbs
Ground beef: $7.59/lbs

Seriously! That’s insane to me. When you buy from Helder Farms LLC every cut of meat is $4.00 plus a $0.75 fee (a little more for pre-made hamburger patties) that goes to our packaging over at Byron Center Meats. That’s $4.75 for ANY cut you want. From roasts to delmonico, from brisket to ground… Sure, a quarter is a lot of meat when you think about them averaging at 200lbs but it’s a great deal at $4.75/lbs.

Hey everyone. I just wanted to reach out and see if anyone is interested in beef. I have a half available that will be ready in 2 weeks. The price is $ 2.90/lb of meat. Package will be done at Sheldon Meats and costs .64/lb. Any interest message me. Thanks.

Hello everyone I just wanted to take a minute and explain a little bit about what we are doing. We are looking to sell freezer beef in 1/4s, 1/2s, and wholes. Our pricing currently is $2.50/lb of meat. The meat is cut and packaged through Sheldon Meats. We still have some meat left for the month of may but they are going quickly.
