Today is the one-year anniversary of Mitch’s passing. Although it has been a very challenging year, both emotionally and physically, I believe God has blessed us in many ways. I would like to thank our many friends and family that have offered support through various acts of kindness, encouragement and prayer.
I especially want to thank those of you who are spending time being positive role models to Peyton and Gibson. Mitch was a very talented man who had lots of knowledge and skills he wanted to pass on to his boys.
Please continue to bring up Mitch’s name. The stories bring both healing and laughter. I want his legacy to live on and people to know what a wonderful guy he was.
Over the past few years, I have witnessed God transforming Mitch’s life. Although he always had that mental toughness and loved challenges, he started realizing what really mattered most in life was spending time with his family and having the love of Jesus in his heart. He would say, “Look at the positives in every situation, have faith in God, and never give up!”
Thank you, Jesus, for the time on earth you allowed us to have with Mitch. We are forever grateful!!
