Pizza parties are made of dreams, and we raised half the funds for a very good boys surgery!! Thank you to everyone that sent money, came for pizza and purchased a silent auction item. Making pizzas to raise money is pretty freaking cool 😎

Pizza party! There is a reason that is tattooed on the back of my arms. It’s because I love hosting a good backyard pizza party when weather permits.

I was able to teach my cousins how to spin out dough, top a pizza, and cook them. By the end they were spinning their own, and getting confident.

They told me they learned more at Mimi’s pizza school in the couple of hours than they learned in an entire week at Sur La Table cooking school. 😎🍕

Excited to fix up the yard to be a more official / semi permanent structure for hosting pizza parties.

She’s still got it 🖤

Mimis Pórtico was one of the hardest and most fulfilling things I have ever experienced in my 36 years on this earth. I was so consumed with making the best pizza, doing the most events, and making it all worth it that I didn’t realize how brave it was. A lot of things could have gone horribly wrong, and I feel incredibly grateful for the support everyone showed me for the years of this pizza businesses life.

I started this dream in 2019, and it completely changed my life. I have written these letters of my feelings to Mimi’s. This time it’s different. This time I look in my backyard and the blue trailer is no longer there.

The new dream is being a healthy, happy person with my friends and family. A plan to create an outdoor kitchen where I can invite friends over for pizza parties and stay in the amazing pizza community. 🔥🍕

Sopranos baked ziti pasta tray for a Sopranos party. Spicy Italian sausage and bell peppers were my notes, and that’s what they got 🍝

Y’all don’t play! I came out of pizza dough hibernation, and I had 13 orders to fill last night after my 8-4 job.

Luckily it’s like riding a bike. Anyone that got dough or a pizza kit, please share photos of your creations with me :)
