I want say something, just as I would not put my two cents into something that I have not done work into learning. I feel it’s important to study something before you give anyone else advice or to put an opinion into something that you don’t know anything about.
I have came across this time and time again. Maybe you had one bad incident or maybe you just haven’t been around them.. The answer almost has always been horses can be violent, they could “kill you”… they are scary. The fact is when these kind of things are said, I know for a fact, they either had a bad accident or that they have not done enough studying of a horse or they haven’t been around them at all… 
First off how can you judge something that you have no idea about? How is any bit of the advice, thoughts you have about a horse relevant if you have no experience with them?  i’m not going to decide bad or good on something that I have not done any kind of research into. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to judge anybody, but only speaking the truth. 
But here’s a little bit of education for you, horses are prey animals, which means they don’t want to kill you. If you run into a horse that wants to kill you they’ve probably been abused to that point or something in their head is mentally not right with them “medically”.They are not out to get revenge and hurt us.
You know who is out to hurt us? Ourselves. When you don’t educate yourself and you get around horses, that’s where the accident happens. Horses are led by body language, if you don’t understand it, then let someone guide you and teach you. I don’t know how many stories I’ve heard about people getting on someone else’s horse and then getting hurt because neither of them spend the time learning about them.
 I help people do exactly that teach them the body language of the horse and how we should be representing our body to be able to put off the right emotions because the horse wants us to lead them.
They long for us to lead them, but if you’re not leading right, then it becomes dangerous.
This is unfortunately, where the horse gets the misinterpretation of being “crazy” or “scary”.
Please don’t be one of those people that talk about horses in a negative way because you’re not willing to educate yourself on them.. and to add to that I believe horses have a soul, and I believe they go to heaven. I feel like today, I had some righteous anger that had to do with this just because the horse has done so much for me in my life. They don’t deserve the name people put on them.
They don’t deserve to be looked at as violent or mean. And I will continue to advocate for them because they don’t have a physical voice.
I hope and pray if you read this you see that being scared of the horse, thinking it’s violent is of fear and lack of wisdom. That you will take out the time to educate yourself with somebody so that you understand them. They’re not just a wild animal that you can whip into submission and it takes a lot of patience and effort to work with a horse. This is all things that somebody that is experienced could teach you.
