Good afternoon from the Flying T Ranch, I rarely post but I have to say a big thanks to three amazing young man. My horses decided today was a good day to take a walk on the wild side, these three young man Cody Bickelhaupt and Adam Bickelhaupt and Colton Tate stopped and convince the horses that they weren't going to go for a walk. Thank you guys so much you are terrific!

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our Large Black Hogs. They are truly a fantastic breed and are individually fantastic animals. They will be moving on to The Pig Place in Fort Edward, New York.

They have been a source of joy while they were here, but it is time they move on. We will surely miss them.

We are looking to sell my mother's Large Black registered breeders (Majestic boar and Warbler sow). We have available 2 Majestic/Warbler just weaned boars. Also available is a sow due to farrow in 3 weeks. She is half Large Black/half Tamworth bred to Majestic boar. Also one full Large Black sow and her litter, they are not able to be registered. This is terrible. I have read the DNR regulations and the "characteristics" could apply to ANY pig. That isn't fair to any farmer who wishes to raise their pigs naturally and healthy.

Heritage hog farmer Mark Baker sued the State of Michigan when its Department of Natural Resources arbitrarily ordered him to kill his pigs in late 2011.
