I received this text from the kids today:

“Every blue flag represents 5 pumpkin lives lost in battle to the burning sun, the treacherous rain or the evil bugs. I come to this group chat to ask every member to pay their respects to every pumpkin and to not let their sacrifice go in vain.🫡”

At least they still have a sense of humor... 😆
