Hi, I’m Vanessa Printup—the proud owner, founder, baker, and creative heart behind Sweet Cakes LLC!

I’m 32 years old, a devoted wife, mother of two, foster mother of one, and a dedicated nurse. When I’m not working, you can usually find me shuttling my kids to their different sporting events, hitting the gym, enjoying a little shopping, or catching up on some much-needed rest.

My baking journey began in October 2024, and I quickly fell in love with it. What started as a home-based passion has grown into a bakery storefront right here in Hammond, Louisiana. Sweet Cakes specializes in custom cakes for life’s biggest celebrations, along with freshly baked desserts and sweet treats for everyday cravings.

As a wife, mom, foster mom, nurse, and small-business owner, I understand how meaningful life’s special moments can be. Whether I’m creating the perfect birthday cake, preparing treats for a wedding or event, or simply helping satisfy your sweet tooth, every order is made with care, creativity, and a whole lot of passion.

I’m incredibly grateful for every customer who has supported my dream and helped Sweet Cakes grow into what it is today. I would be honored to create something sweet for you and be a small part of your next special occasion!

Currently in the process of adding a page to my website for bookings.

On this page you will be able to book cake tastings, mini birthday cake decorating, kids cake class, adult cake class & mommy & me cake class.

Also considering doing something for bachelorette groups on their night out.

I’m still working out all the details of each thing & learning to navigate the ins and out of the website to make sure the bookings are smooth & transparent.

Once it is live i will post it here 🥰
