Even the vines know the value of teamwork. 🌱

While walking the vineyard, we spotted two vines stretched out across the row, one with its tendril curled around the other. It’s what we call “shaking hands”.

Tendrils naturally reach out and grab hold of what’s around them, helping support the vine as it grows upward.

It’s a simple reminder that strong vineyards and strong teams aren’t built alone. They’re built through connection, support, and working together toward the same goal.

Sometimes, even the vineyard gives us a lesson worth remembering. 🍇

Congratulations to our 2026 Champion of Character Scholarship recipient, Aubrey Hink!

Each year, the Doyle Vineyard Management Champion of Character Scholarship recognizes a graduating senior who exemplifies the values that guide everything we do: quality, respect, teamwork, integrity, and personal responsibility.

We are proud to recognize Aubrey for embodying these qualities throughout her high school years. This fall, she will begin the next chapter of her journey by studying Nursing at Duquesne University. We have no doubt that her compassion, work ethic, and commitment to serving others will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those she cares for.

At Doyle Vineyard Management, we know that great vineyards are built by great people, and we’re proud to shine the spotlight on Rich Bussmann!

After retiring from a 40-year career in the manufacturing industry, Rich joined our team in 2025 and brought with him a strong work ethic, a love for agriculture, and a willingness to learn. Having grown up on a farm, working in the vineyards has allowed him to reconnect with his roots while helping care for the vines that produce world-class Finger Lakes grapes.

Rich enjoys every aspect of vineyard work, from learning how grapes are grown to operating equipment and working alongside an outstanding team. His positive attitude and dedication make him a valued member of the DVM family.
