Hello Everyone!
We hope that everyone has been enjoying their summer and doing plenty of grilling with the beef and pork from last years orders!!
It is that time of year again, to start thinking about stocking your freezer for the next year.
We have limited availability for beef again this year, but we do hope to be able to accomodate everyone who would like to order. There are 2 shipment dates: November 28, 2016 (Beef would be ready mid December) and December 27, 2016 (Beef would be ready Mid January). We will fill these dates on a first come, first serve basis, and as always, the customers who placed an order last year, will have first option to order again this year. If you would like to place an order, please let us know what quantity you would like (1/4, 1/2 or whole Beef) and your preference for either a November or December ship date. We will take orders from last years customers ONLY until August 10th. After that time, we will open up to previous customers, and then our waitlist and new customers. So please let us know soon what you would like so that we can make sure to get you on our list!!
In addition to beef sales, we also occasionally have hogs available. These hogs are purchased at a young age from another small, local farmer. We strive to make sure that they are well cared for from the beginning, and are raised in much the same manner as our beef. These Berkshire hogs have access to outdoors and pasture, are fed an all-natural diet that is free from animal by-products, and they are not fed any antibiotics. At this time, we do not yet have a date to get more hogs. But if you are interested in a whole or half hog, please let us know, so we can have an idea of how many we need to buy when they become available.
And last but not least, we do have a very limited number of turkeys for sale again this year!! They are also naturally pasture raised and fed a natural diet, with no medications or animal by-products. They will be processed and ready to go at least a week before Thanksgiving, and will come cleaned, bagged and Deep frozen, just like you would find them in the grocery store. They should range in price from $70-100, depending on Size, and usually range in size from 15-20 # for the hens, up to 40 # for the bigger Toms!! Let us know as soon as posible if you would like to reserve one for Thanksgiving, as there are not many available. Our current beef and pork customers will also have first option to order turkeys.
