After 4-5 years of having chickens, The Fluffy Butt Hutt is no longer.
It is bitter sweet, but they have a great new piece of land and woods to roam all day. Kenny also has LOTS of girls to enjoy. Although I am sad, I know they are gonna be happy.
Thank you to all our customers we have grown to love over the years, thank you for supporting our small coop and being so loyal.

FINISHED!!!
After over $200 later and 4 long hours, the coop is fresh and the girls+Kenny are happy!
I will have to continue building the ground higher in some sections which I will continue to do over time, so flooding doesn't happen again. For now, everyone is happy ❤️

Debby definitely did work on our coop 😫 this wasn't even the worst of it. The whole coop was flooded, standing water up to my ankles. Thankfully the girls+ Kenny have a huge long shelf on the other side, plus a roost, and a ladder on the first side so they were never standing in the water.
With the rain gone and no more in the forecast for now, I spent 4 hours out there redoing/fixing the coop. Next post will be the finished result ❤️

Say hello to little mama!
This girly is a lone chicken, the rest of the flock has turned against her which means she gets more time with me 😀.
Our whole flock including Kenny (our rooster) decided that they no longer like little mama. They do not allow her to leave the coop, get down from the roost, or do anything 😭. When she tries, they all notice her and begin pecking her and jumping on her.
She feels safe around me so if im outside and she hears my voice she will try and run to me for safety, thankfully we have a separate part of the yard which is fenced in, and I grab her from the coop and place her alone on the other side so she is able to enjoy the outside world 😀 . She is the sweetest little mama and we have definitely bonded alot since the flock turned on her.

Hello hello! It's been a while since we have posted! Some of yall know that from February- March we had three passings in our family 2 within 2 weeks of eachother and then another 5 days later. 1 of those passings was my amazing uncle. It has been rough on my emotional and mental health, and as hard as I try to get through the days, nothing seems right. With that being said I am trying to take my page to the next level by posting and interacting more often! My goal is atleast once a week to start as I continue working on myself and navigating this new life.
I want to say a BIG thank you to all my customers, everyone viewing our page, and everyone spreading The Fluffy Butt Hutt around town. We see you and we love you! ❤️

Say hello to Kenny!
He was not satisfied with only 4 girls in his last flock, so he is going to try the Fluffy Butt Hutt flock of 20!
So far our girls want nothing to do with him, even though he has been showing them his beautiful dance moves 😂
If it doesn't work out for him here, he will be returned to his old flock.

We are sad to announce, our sweet girl Runner has crossed the rainbow.
Runner was previously owned by our good friend who he got from one of his buddies. We have had her at The Fluffy Butt Hutt for close to 4 years now. She was pushing close to 8/9 years old, survived being attacked by a coyote and weasels! Was alpha female in all the coops she lived in, was the sweetest but most feisty girl out there, she knew her name when you called, she had so much personality and s***k. Overall, she was just amazing and there is definitely a piece of my heart missing.
RIP Runner!

This little lady gets some VIP treatment (even though they all get treated like queens daily 🤣)
She has hurt her leg somehow and wont get up or walk. Here's a little fact: when 1 hen gets hurt the others began to bully the injured, by pecking them all over.
We have a zero bully tolerance here at The Fluffy Butt Hutt of Hampstead. With that being said, she will continue being away from the flock until she is able to walk.
