If you’re driving through Hampton, make the stop at Wing Itz. 🔥

The buffalo chicken dip is worth pulling over for. Housemade and chicken-forward, with less of that heavy sour cream overload you get in a lot of versions. Rich, flavorful, and actually tastes like buffalo chicken instead of just creamy heat.

Served with housemade tortilla chips that were light, crisp, and made for scooping, plus plenty of fresh celery and carrots on the side.

Simple, done right, and exactly the kind of roadside detour that pays off. 🍗🥕🧀

Two cocktails and catching up with a good friend. 🍸🔥

Started with the R&R and Lively Botanist — the R&R came topped with rose petals and leaned sweeter, smooth, and dangerously easy to drink. The Lively Botanist brought a brighter, slightly sour edge that kept things fresh and balanced.

We started with the pull-apart cheesy bread. “Pull-apart” might be generous — this one made us work for it — but the flavor absolutely made up for the effort. Golden, bubbling, rich, cheesy, and worth every tug.

For my entrée, the tomato soup came topped with a cheese melt rivaling your favorite French onion soup — rich, cozy, and exactly what you want on a chilly day.

My friend went with the Nashville hot pita: crispy, messy, spicy, stacked high with pickles, melty cheese, and all the attitude. Worth every napkin.

Mason’s was the perfect spot to catch up over cocktails, comfort food, and a table full of good choices. 😮‍💨🍴

Shibley’s at the Pier | Alton Bay

A warning for first-timers: the lobster rangoon is not a side note here and definitely deserves a whole post of its own. They’re sold by the piece because each one is enormous. We ordered ten for the table of five before realizing the scale of the situation. Crispy shell, generous filling, and one of those orders you’ll talk about after lunch.

Friday: Caesar salad, whole belly clams, and a bartender who was absolutely fantastic.

Sunday: Easter dinner with spinach & artichoke dip, ham, mashed potatoes, corn, slaw… and baked beans that deserved their own spotlight. 🤌🏻🐣

When the food is good and the service hits, you go back. Peppers Landing understood the assignment.

Villagio is the real MVP. 🍽️🔥

Fresh bread + herb oil, lentil soup, antipasti, salad, lobster risotto with THREE lobster tails 🦞🦞🦞, pillowy gnocchi, 3 cocktails, and a glass of wine… all for $135. Absolute steal. 😮‍💨💸✨

Good food, good drinks, and a deal that deserves to be talked about. 😋👌🏻

Next up… State Street Saloon!

One of their specials this past weekend was the stuffed clam. We didn’t know what to expect but it was phenomenal. 🤩 Buttery, full of flavor, and gone way too fast. If you see it on the menu, get it. No questions asked.

For the chowder fans, the seafood chowder is iconic. Loaded with seafood including lobster claws 🦞 and exactly what New England chowder is supposed to taste like.

Fun fact! It’s the same owner as 12 Ocean Grill in Seabrook, NH. If you love one, you need to try the other. Two spots, same standard of excellence. 🙌🏼

Kicking things off here with our first post…

Capri Seaside Italian Kitchen + Pizzeria 🌊

One of our favorite Italian spots in Salisbury, MA —always a hit for a special night out. 🫶🏻

Their savory tomato dipping sauce with complimentary olive bread sets the tone immediately. Followed by the homemade meatball appetizer - tender, perfectly spiced, and honestly could’ve stopped there. But then came the chicken piccata with angel hair, and that lemony caper sauce sealed the deal. 🤤

Highly recommend for date night or any night worth celebrating.
