This is a good post with good honest information.

We get asked if our honey is organic all the time. Truth is there is zero organic honey in the USA. Our bees are kept in the middle of forest and swampland during honey season We can't control where the bees go. We can guarantee our honey is RAW and NATURAL but not organic. And any beekeeper in your town that claims they have organic honey is not being honest with you. So if you're looking for organic honey we aren't for you. But if you want Raw and natural honey just like the bees made it, give us a try.

Look at this beauty of a queen!! She’s been laying for less than a week. She is a daughter from one of my favorite queens and I’m excited to see her grow out!! She has a very interesting look to her!!
Nucs are coming along nicely. I’ve purged frames where the honey bound themselves and they’re drawing out the foundations!

It was cold this morning but perfect to move bees. These are all over wintered nucs I kept and they are doing well. All need a third super. I will add one this afternoon. I’m liking this trailer idea. I will prob do a few more to better chase the spotty flow we are having!!

The flow is doing well so far. A lot of these supers are foundation boxes I’ve added in the last few days.
Undersupering is giving me the best results. Yes it sucks to have to lift the full boxes but if it means they fill more boxes faster so be it.
The monster had 4 full supers. I added the other 2 right before filming this video!! They were bearding when I arrived there!
Post a pic of your biggest hive in the comments!!

Today’s adventure with Stone Mountain Apiaries was using a tractor and my catch pole to reach a high swarm. This one was too high to shoot the limb so my buddy Nick Vines brought his tractor! It worked well and the queen is now caged and they’re all in the box!! That catch pole works a lot better than a bucket on a pole!!

Today I dealt with swarming issues! I believe the cold snaps have reset some of them to swarm. Check your hives. I had some with 2 supers full trying to swarm. I also helped this queen hatch!!!
Overall a good day!!

Ooppps!!! This one got ahead of me. I found it yesterday in between rain. I evidentially killed the queen earlier but they have bounced back and I’m behind. I’m going to combine her with a box of bees from a bad queen I’m replacing and add a deep super of foundation!

I found this swarm in my big chestnut tree. It was too high to reach so I grabbed the shotgun. After the first shot the beach was snagged by two other branches. Part of the swarm fell to the ground and luckily I was able to find the queen! I went to my buddy Nick Vines house and he gave me 3 more shells. It was a fun evening. I’ll combine her back with her hive and right back into honey production. A big thanks to Nick for the shells and filming!
